Albany High celebrates inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame
Six decades of outstanding athletes from Albany High School will be acknowledged when the school host its first annual
Athletic Hall of Fame induction service at 6:30 p.m. April 26 in the school gymnasium.
The days festivities will begin with a 4:30 p.m. hor doeuvres social, the induction program at 6:30 p.m. followed by
dessert at 8 p.m. The school is located at 603 Key Route Blvd.
The 1957 football team, coached by Bill Savage, and 1987 volleyball team, coached by Debbie Wanlin, will also be honored.
There will also be special recognition for a number of the school's dedicated coaches.
Tickets are $30 per person, children under 9 are free. The deadline for reservations is March 15. Checks, made payable to
AHS Hall of Fame, can be mailed to Kevin Tannahill, 806 Key Route Blvd., Albany, CA. 94706.

Classes of 1949-1952 Mexico Cruise
Albany High School Classes of 1949-1953 have scheduled an 11-Night cruise to Mexico begining October 13,2008. The cruise is on
the Norwegian Sun and departs from San Francisco and returns on Friday, October 24th at 8AM. Anyone can join the cruise by making
