Associated Press Online

Among the most sophisticated Websites are those belonging to newspapers.
This Web page is from the New York Times. It is updated every ten minutes
with the latest news from the Associated Press. Each headline is linked to
a text version of the story on a page of the New York Times Website.
Students reporting current events have the best of two worlds. The news
they quote for class or homework is as fresh as what comes over radio and
television, yet the Internet provides them with text, like a newspaper or
magazine. Here, and in any computer research, footnotes should have
citations:
SITE, SOURCE, DATE.
-- for example:
www.nytimes.com/aponline/, Associated Press, February 2, 1998.
