Subject: K-12 Schools Free Web Sites Initiative
You are already acquainted with us. We're Homework Heaven (http://www.homeworkheaven.com), the 150,000 link educational Web site that emails you the TOP FIVE RESEARCH SITES each week.
You will undoubtedly be seeing the following news story in the educational section of your local paper sometime this week. However, this letter will serve as your advance notification of our K-12 schools free web sites initiative, and will give you the opportunity to reserve a free site for your school prior to the newspaper announcements.
In brief, Homework Heaven is making available almost 4 terabytes of FREE Web space to K-12 schools, enough to create approximately 100,000 websites, one for each K-12 school currently without a site.
Each school is being allocated 3 megabytes of Web space, enough space for almost 100 pages of text. These are fully interactive sites which you and/or your students will construct. Your school will have its own URL. There are no fees or charges of any kind. This is one of those rare things that really are FREE.
Space for 10,000 sites are being allocated immediately. At the end of April we will begin allocating an additional 10,000 sites per month. Sites can only be reserved by teachers, school administrators, or other authorized K-12 personnel. To reserve a free site for your school, please see the Free School Site Initiative FAQ at: http://www.homeworkheaven.com/hosting. All reservations are on a first-come-first-served-basis.
